Cryotherm Wins Contract to Supply a National Distributor.

Cryotherm were recently asked to supply our fire-rated stone wool board, Spiralite to a National supplier of structural fire protection and insulation.

They were previously using another supplier but the long lead times and minimum order value were causing problems.

At Cryotherm, we supply our own rock wool board, Spiralite, which has been independently tested and assessed by BRE to British standards in accordance with the 5th edition of the ASFP Yellow Book. This means that we can hold large quantities for stock for our customers and deliver next day when required.

There are also other benefits to using Cryotherm’s Spiralite stone wool board:

  • Spiralite is a high-quality, semi-rigid board with a density of 200kg/m3 making it easier to handle on site.
  • Spiralite begins at a thickness of 20mm
  • Cryotherm are able to cut Spiralite to size and label for ease of use on site.
  • No minimum order value
  • Easy to handle with a simple dry-fix screw method
  • Up to 2-hour fire-rating
  • Thermal and acoustic qualities
  • Technical support and advice

Spiralite has been used since the 1980s and is well respected in the industry. It has been used in large construction projects in the UK and globally, including the Trafford Centre, Manchester, Morrisons Head Quarters and HSBC in HongKong and even mezzanine flooring for Block Buster movies.
